TIME managing editor Walter Isaacson wrote a truly profound and critical analysis of what motivates Secretary of State Madeleine Albright [KOSOVO CRISIS, May 17], giving us insight into her childhood experiences and her ensuing moral beliefs. But there are thousands of people who lived in Europe through the Nazi period or Stalinist domination who later became U.S. citizens and whose views are quite different from those of Albright.
