After reading your articles on biotechnology [THE FUTURE OF MEDICINE, Jan. 11], I realized that for better or for worse, genetic engineering is now a permanent fixture in our daily life. Its potential to benefit society is great. However, many have decided that genetic engineering is unethical and immoral.
