An executive at a high-tech firm in the coastal city of Herzliya, Gadish still hasn't made up his mind whom to vote for in two weeks. He views Peres, the incumbent, as visionary but perhaps too starry-eyed. Netanyahu seems more grounded but worrisomely untested. With neither Peres nor Netanyahu yet attracting a firm majority in the polls, the decision in the May 29 prime ministerial election will come down to Gadish's vote and those of the other 200,000 uncommitted Israelis.
