This season's replacement soap opera for the Buttafuocos of Long Island is the Bobbitts of Manassas. There is Lorena Bobbitt, the Ecuadorian-born manicurist who could go to prison for 20 years if she is found guilty of what the lawyers call "malicious wounding." Then there is John Wayne Bobbitt, who, although acquitted of marital sexual assault last week, may never, as they say, be whole again.
