The memo below is the smoking gun in the General Accounting Office's recent damning evaluation of the Pentagon. The Air Force issued data deceptively understating the size of the radar profile of the B1-B bomber. This Air Force ^ memo contains the accurate data (here blacked out by the GAO), along with the admonition that that information be kept from the GAO. The Pentagon gave the memo to the GAO by accident.
