Save Lives? The N.R.A. moves to exploit the L.A. riots for its own agenda

IN EVEN THE WORST OF DISASTERS THERE ARE bound to be some opportunities. One group that sees itself as a potential benefactor from the Los Angeles riots is the National Rifle Association. Already, articles pointing out the benefits of keeping a home arsenal as a defense against armed looters are slated for the June issues of the N.R.A.'S American Rifleman and American Hunter magazines as well as for the upcoming edition of its political action newsletter, NRAction.
