Whatever questions surround the assassination of John F. Kennedy, there has never been any doubt about who killed Lee Harvey Oswald. On Nov. 24, 1963, two days after he was arrested for Kennedy's killing, Oswald was shot to death in the basement of Dallas' municipal building by strip-joint operator Jack Ruby as a stunned nation watched on live television. Last week the gun used in the killing went on the auction block in New York City. The .38-cal. Colt Cobra revolver, which Ruby had bought for $62.50 at a Dallas gun shop, sold for $220,000.
