The President has quietly bought a lot in suburban Houston, taking advantage of the soft Texas real estate market to find a spot to build a post-presidency residence that's close to his old ! friends in the oil industry. The Bushes will spend eight months of the year there while continuing to pass the summer season in Kennebunkport.
