DIED. Oswald (Ossie) Bluege, 84, third baseman of catlike quickness for the Washington Senators (1922-39) who was widely regarded as one of the best glovemen ever to play the position; in Edina, Minn. His 49 years' employment with the Senators--the Minnesota Twins after 1961--included stints as coach (1940-42), manager (1943-47), farm director (1948-54), controller and secretary (1955-71).
