Sport: The Longest Game

"It isn't over till it's over," Yogi Berra once remarked of baseball games. And this one isn't over yet. After 8 hr. 7 min. and 32 innings, the Rochester Red Wings and the Pawtucket Red Sox of the International League's Class AAA set the record for the longest game in the history of organized baseball, in both innings played and time elapsed. Suspended at 4:07 Easter Sunday morning with the score tied 2-2, the game will resume June 23. Of the original crowd of 1,740 fans only 47 were still on hand.
