Ever since the pay toilet was banned by the New York State legislature last year, Nik-O-Lok Co. of Indianapolis, which markets the device and collects some 25% of the revenue, has been working to regain its lost business. One solution: a device that enables gas stations to charge 25ยข for the use of an air hose to pump up a tire.
