DIED. Harry Freeman, 71, Brooklyn-born managing editor in the U.S. for Tass, the Soviet news agency; of cancer; in Manhattan. After working for such leftist publications as the New Masses and the Daily Worker, Freeman joined Tass in 1929, writing about many aspects of American life for Soviet readers.
