Modern Living: Who Wears the Pants?

As if it is not difficult enough to tell who wears the pants in the family, something new has come along to add to the confusion: panty hose for men. Stretch-nylon Mani-Hose, designed to be worn as underwear, are catching on across the U.S. Ribbed from the calf down and equipped with a fly front, they come in several colors but in only one sizeĀ—30-40 waist and 12-13 foot. After being bought initially by only the most daring, they have now become popular (at $6.50 per pair) with thousands of policemen, mailmen, skiers and other outdoor types.
