Business: TIME's Board of Economists

MEMBERS of TIME's Board of Economists meet four times a year with the editorial staff for a daylong analysis of the economy and consult regularly on individual stories. The economists speak as individuals, not as representatives of the institutions with which they are associated. The members:

OTTO ECKSTEIN, a Harvard professor and president of Data Resources Inc., an economic consulting firm in Lexington, Mass.

WALTER HELLER, professor of economics at the University of Minnesota, former chairman of the President's Council of Economic Advisers.

DAVID GROVE, vice president and chief economist of IBM.
