The pudgy, blustering man who managed and mismanaged millions of Teamster Union dollars during his career as the union's international president was finally hung up last week by $1,900. In a Seattle courtroom a jury of seven men and five women, after deliberating almost nine hours, found Neighbor Dave Beck, 63, guilty of stealing the $1,900 he banked in his own account after the sale of a union-owned Cadillac (maximum sentence: 15 years).
