For a man who had twice this season broken the world's record in the 200-yd. breast stroke, Princeton's lanky (6 ft. 4 in., 165 lbs.) Bob Brawner was strangely nervous as he stepped up to the edge of the Ohio State pool at Columbus one night last week. Only the week before, he had licked La Salle's stocky Olympic champion, Joe Verdeur.
