The weekly Atlantic Highlands (NJ.) Journal (circ. 1,050) was short on personal items and society notes because its staff had been temporarily cut in half. Explained Editor William Buckley on Page One: "The Editor's wife, who goes around picking up loose ends after the Editor, is a good eight months pregnant and the doctor says she must take things easy from here on out. That means the number of loose ends she picks up is considerably diminished ... If there is something you want in the paper, or if you know of some little tidbit that's newsy, drop us a line...
