Education: Plant Plans

Whatever U.S. colleges may teach after the war, they hope to have more room in which to do it. Last week Arthur L. Brandon, publicity man for Vanderbilt University, finished surveying 143 colleges, learned that 114 of them plan 426 new buildings, costing $155,366,000. Most elaborate blueprint: the University of California's, for 115 buildings costing $53,000,000.
