Believing that too many churches are "put in mothballs" during the summer, Rev. Dr. John Robbins ("Jack") Hart Jr., Philadelphia Episcopalian, last summer founded an Anti-Mothball Society (TIME, July 12, 1937). Its motto: DON'T SLOW UP.
