Nominated. Samuel H. Collom, President of the U. S. Lawn Tennis Association, is a member of the Germantown Cricket Club, where William Tatem Tilden II learned to play tennis. Because he has known Tilden for a long time, people guessed it was President Collom who got Tilden declared an amateur again in time for the last Davis Cup matches. If Tilden needs help again this year, Mr. Collom will not be there. Last week the elections committee of the U. S. L. T. A. nominated Louis B. Dailey, Manhattan realtor, as its next president....
