Nominated. Samuel H. Collom, President of the U. S. Lawn Tennis Association, is a member of the Germantown Cricket Club, where William Tatem Tilden II learned to play tennis. Because he has known Tilden for a long time, people guessed it was President Collom who got Tilden declared an amateur again in time for the last Davis Cup matches.
