Appointed last week by Vermont's Governor Weeks† to succeed the late Senator Frank Lester Greene was Frank Charles Partridge of Proctor, Vt. Senator-designate Partridge, 69, president of Vermont Marble Co., started as a page in the State Senate, was president of his Amherst class (1882, thirteen years before Calvin Coolidge), studied law at Columbia, served the U.
