In the Pentecostal Church of God in Baltimore one night last week, Rev. John William Pitcher and five members set out to break the cover-to-cover Bible reading record (69 hr., 17 min.) of Rev. Finis J. Dake & team of Zion City, Ill. (TIME, Feb. 26). It took Preacher Pitcher's team 50 hr. and 56 min. to go from Genesis to Revelation. Then all arose and sang: "Praise God from Whom all blessings flow. . . ."
