PALESTINE & IRAK: Tell England

The sight of Turkish soldiers killing British soldiers raised a mighty Arab cheer in Jerusalem last week, caused the British censor to ban showings of a film called Tell England. British-made, this film has told England about her unsuccessful onslaught against Turkey at Gallipoli in 1915.

Fortnight ago in Bagdad the Turkish soldiers were cheered and the British soldiers hissed so loudly by subjects of King Feisal of Irak that His Majesty hastily barred Tell England from his realm. This year Irak hopes to make her world debut, hopes that Mother Britain will keep her promise to end British tutelage...
