The fishers of the Senate fished all week in the deep seas and caught,
in one word, nothing. The most promising nibble was testimony of a
minor official in the Department of Justice to the effect that the
Department had failed to recover between $5,000,000 and $20,000,000
from a subsidiary Du Pont (powder) company. This big fish got off the
line before it was hooked. The fishing proceeded.
