Khomeini finds a convenient new scapegoat: the Communists
It was a peculiarly bloodless demolition of a largely toothless group. On TV broadcasts videotaped in jail, glum leaders of Iran's Tudeh Communist Party confessed, one by one, to being Soviet spies.
