The mounting problems of the U.S. Postal Service have been brought home to all Americans in the past two weeks with the introduction of the 13¢ stamp and other increased rates. Next week Congress will return to work and will certainly have to deal with the very serious financial crisis that has been building up at the U.S. Postal Service.
