WEST GERMANY: Spectacle in Stuttgart

The most sensational, costly and politically explosive trial in West German history opened in Stuttgart last week. Four self-styled urban guerrillas, each handcuffed to a policeman, were ushered into a custom-built, top-security courthouse.
