With a hundred cellos gleaming on it, the stage of New York's Philharmonic Hall looked like the setting for a Busby Berkeley musical. The earlier part of the program included Soprano Beverly Sills, Pianist Rudolf Serkin and Conductor Leopold Stokowski.
