Enrique Garcia, 35, a farm laborer in Reynosa, Mexico, had reason for anxiety when his wife Lorenza went into labor one blustery night nine months ago. The couple's first child had been stillborn, and both badly wanted a baby. But Garcia's nervousness turned to horror when he saw the boy that was to bear his name.
