It couldn't be all that bad—a rock film featuring the Rolling Stones, the Beach Boys, the Bee Gees, Otis Redding, Procol Harurn and Joe Cocker. But pop fans who allow themselves to be seduced into seeing this sleazy little exploitation film called Popcorn will have been thoroughly swindled.

Some of the performers do not even appear but are merely heard on the sound track; others, like the Stones and the Bee Gees, are seen in artless, pseudopsychedelic sequences that look as if they'd been culled from a defunct TV show. Worse, the soundtrack muddles the music with tacky dubbing and hollow recording....
