Hollywood: 1963 Oscarace

Hollywood's Academy Award nominations were announced last week. Oscar day is April 8. There will be much jockeying between now and then to advance the following stallions and fillies:

For Best Actor: Burt Lancaster for Bird Man of Alcatraz, Jack Lemmon for Days of Wine and Roses, Marcello Mastroianni for DivorceĀ—Italian Style, Peter O'Toole for Lawrence of Arabia, and Gregory Peck for To Kill a Mockingbird.
