On to 10,000 newsstands around the U.S. this week went a handsome, new pocket-size magazine, U.S.A., "The Magazine of American Affairs." Its publisher: the National Association of Manufacturers. As N.A.M.'s first try at putting out a general magazine, U.S.A. is "devoted to analyzing, discussing and interpreting American affairs . . . for serious people . . . who care enough about what is going on in their country to bother to read about it."
