Premier Sukiman's ten-month-old coalition cabinet resigned. Reason: in accepting $8,000,000 Mutual Security Aid from the U.S. (TIME, Feb. 25), the government had to formally declare itself on the West's side, a declaration which horrified the Indonesian Parliament.
