SHOW BUSINESS: Bet Against Color

Emerson Radio & Phonograph Corp.'s President Benjamin Abrams last week made a $20 million bet that color television will not make much headway in the next two years. For "a limited time," said Abrams, Emerson will issue a guarantee with every ig52-model black & white set it sells, allowing the purchaser to trade in the set—at full value—against any color TV set that may come on the market in the next two years.
