The Washington rumor that will not down bobbed up again last week, with a new twist and from a new source. Secretary of State Acheson will quit before Oct. 1 on the wave of acclaim that is expected to roll out of the Korean truce and the signing of the Japanese peace treaty, reported the pro-Acheson New York Post.
