On a flight from Lima to Panama, a five-year-old stallion named Canastos got frightened and kicked out the side of his stall. The Andes Airlines pilot knew what he had to do. Reluctantly, he fired two slugs from his revolver into Canastos' forehead. Then he brought his plane down on an emergency field.
