In its lonely isolation at Battle Creek, Mich., the Kellogg Co., maker of Corn Flakes, Krumbles, Rice Krispies ("Snap! Crackle! Pop!") and other crepitant delicacies, believes that the world would be cozier if its kiddies got to know each other better. To enshrine this thought and celebrate Kellogg's first 50 years of crisp cookery, each box of Kellogg's Corn Flakes is now decorated with a postcard on which U.S. children are urged to write notes to "pen pals" in some foreign land.
