In the old days, he might have been consumed by fire from heaven. Last week, in front of Kansas City's strikebound Elko Photo Products Co., a 24-year-old A.F.L. cabdriver named Harvey Warner paid the penalty for modern blasphemy. Arm in arm with striking A.F.L. women workers, Penitent Warner paraded his shame for two eight-hour shifts, draped in an accusing sign: "I am a heel. I crossed a picket line."
