In Manhattan last week Shipbuilder Henry J. Kaiser announced a new acquisition in the East: Bristol, Pa.'s Fleet-wings Inc., stainless-steel plane builder, whose $50,000,000 backlog includes Army trainers, parts for other aircraft firms.
Last month Kaiser took over management of Rheem Manufacturing Co.'s new Government-owned Liberty shipyard at Providence, R.I., due to produce a U.S. version of the Canadian corvette.
