As adapted by Jane Murfin it briefly shows Ann Yickers (Irene Dunne) at the start of her career, coolly fencing off the admiration of a clownish confrère and a suave young barrister (Conrad Nagel). It deals more comprehensively with her wartime love affair with Captain Resnick (Bruce Cabot).
