POLITICAL NOTES: Louisiana's Long

For three hours the Louisiana House of Representatives pushed and yelled. One member fainted during his impassioned speech about the Crucifixion. Another member charged at his opponent with clenched fists. Upon adjournment it was found that the House, by a vote of 58 to 40, had impeached Governor Huey P. Long on one charge, with more to follow.
