Foreign News: General Lyautey

A few hours before Delcassé died, General Lyautey went under the surgeon's knife at Rabat, on the African shore of the Mediterranean. He may die. These two Frenchmen, one a politician and the other a Field Marshal, were chiefly responsible for the creation of France's colonial empire, a territory larger than the United States by 1,000,000 square miles.
