She filmed A Doll's House in Norway, The Blue Bird in the Soviet Union, and now Actress Jane Fonda has begun her first Hollywood movie in three years. Titled Dick and Jane, the film has Fonda, now 38, in the role of a suburban housewife who fights the recession with a little bit of larceny. Off-camera, of course, the actress-activist keeps busy as a speechmaker and fund raiser for her husband, Senate Candidate Tom Hayden, 36, of Chicago Seven fame.
