Although it sounds like the name of a new and slightly pompous magazine, events is in fact a sermon: the wages of sexual indulgence are boredom, anxiety and spiritual sterility.

Two young film makers (Ryan Listman and Frank Cavestani), seeking money to make a movie about Lenny Bruce, agree to make a quickie pornographic movie for $10,000. They hurl themselves into the project with such enthusiasm that one of their girl friends (Joy Wener) becomes unnerved.
