Cinema: Shuffling Along

Two cool men (James Garner and Lou Gossett) roam the pre-Civil War West performing an efficient little Skin Game. Taking advantage of the heavy slave traffic, Garner auctions Gossett off to the highest bidder. Gossett rolls his eyes, shuffles along behind his new master, escapes at his first chance and meets Garner outside of town, where they split the profits and have a good laugh. It all works splendidly until they run afoul of a shrewd little swindler (Susan Clark) and an angry gentleman, name of John Brown.
