Turbine Helicopter. The first turbine-powered helicopter designed for front-line evacuation of wounded successfully passed hovering tests and is ready for full flight tryouts. Developed by Bell Aircraft Corp., the six-place XH/p will cruise at around 100 knots, carry 1,000 Ibs., climb at 1,900 ft. per minute.
