Last week the President nominated as the new U.S. Ambassador to Belgium a New Yorker who shares all three of these likes. Ike's nominee: rugged (6 ft. 1 in., 179 Ibs.) William Armistead Moale Burden, 53, wealthy investment specialist, aviation enthusiast, and president of Manhattan's Museum of Modern Art. He will replace retiring (for personal reasons) Washington Investment Banker John Clifford Folger.
