Education: For Scientific Leadership

To help provide the U.S. with more and better scientific leadership, the Rockefeller Institute announced that it would open in Manhattan a graduate university for science students and research scholars. Each year 15 to 20 college graduates and doctors of medicine from all over the world will receive $3,500 fellowships, will spend a minimum of three years working either for a Ph.D. or a doctorate of medical science.
