For $5, a student at New York University could throw a pie in somebody's face last week—and have the added satisfaction of knowing that he was helping the fund for a student-union building. Armored in long raincoats, volunteer pie stoppers received volleys in their choice of six flavors: huckleberry, cherry, apple, chocolate, lemon meringue and banana cream.
