Hard at work in Washington, D.C. this week, a group of Protestant and Catholic clergy and laymen, calling themselves the Committee for the Three Hours' Observance of Good Friday in the Nation's Capital, hoped to persuade employers to give workers time off for Good Friday worship, and remind everybody that Good Friday is not the time for Easter shopping.
